The Camp Site is in Tuscany, a few miles far away from Florence, a wild and green area of historical importance called Mugello. The excellent streets and railways allow you to move fast in the whole region. Excursions are the best occasion to get to know the region. The guides come with you a few hours or the whole day to the beautiful places near the country. You can hike around the "Florence springs trekking" or walk round the most important Arno's tributary. You can learn history visiting the Etruscan excavations of Frascole and Poggio Colla, the House of Giotto, the Medici villa of Cafaggiolo, the park of villa Demidoff, the medieval town of Scarperia, very famous for the knives production. The short distance from Florence and Fiesole allow you to move fast every day by train and by car. From the Mugello it is possible to move around visiting other Tuscan cities, like Siena (1h30min), Lucca (2h), Arezzo (1h 45min), Volterra (1h 45min).
